I tend to run the same routes and do the same strength exercises over and over. I find the consistency comforting, and the idea of changing things actually feels demotivating.
We often read that it’s “good to mix things up”, but I’m not sure that fits how my brain works.
Do you prefer sticking with what you know, or changing your routine? Have you noticed any real downsides (or upsides) either way?
